HIKINGFILES — FOUNDING HOSPITALITY PILOT Prepared October 28, 2026. Proposed service; enrollment is not yet open on this demo. Help your guests choose a hike, with a guide your team can keep sharing. WHO IT IS FOR Independent cabin managers and hotels serving Great Smoky Mountains visitors. One accommodation brand, one region, up to 25 units in the initial offer. Larger operations need an individually agreed scope. THE OFFER $99 per month, month-to-month. A branded mobile guide covering 15 selected routes; official-source reviews twice each week; a weekly staff briefing; one small customization per month. Share the permanent guide link in guest welcome messages and existing guest books. A printable QR handout is included at paid onboarding. The six-route proof of concept demonstrates presentation, source links, filtering and printing; it is not the full paid service. WORKING TOGETHER 1. A 15-minute conversation about guests, accommodation location and current hiking questions. 2. Agree on coverage, the review days, brand name, service start date and contact person. 3. Agree to the monthly price and cancellation method in writing. Receive payment instructions separately. 4. Pay the first month after scope agreement, before service starts. No payment or commitment is collected by this demo. 5. Receive the guide and a staff handoff. Reviews and weekly briefings start on the agreed date. 6. Review usage and value at the end of month one. Renewal requires the agreed billing arrangement; cancel before the next renewal by contacting the service operator. No setup fee in this proposed pilot. WHAT THE SERVICE DOES Maintains a practical collection of source-dated trail facts and published notices. Updates the guide when changes are found during scheduled reviews. Helps staff share consistent answers. Produces short original summaries linked to official sources. BOUNDARIES This is an information-maintenance service, not live monitoring, a guided hike, route inspection, emergency assistance, a guarantee of access or a safety certification. Guests must consult official conditions before departure and judge their own capabilities. Review dates identify desk research. No hikes are asserted to be open merely because they are absent from a closure list. Source conflicts are displayed rather than silently resolved. Weather, roads and field conditions may change between reviews. PILOT SUCCESS Agree on a baseline of guest hiking questions and staff time. In month one record guide sharing/use, recurring questions, update usefulness, time spent maintaining the guide, and reasons to renew or cancel. No reduction in questions, review improvement or booking uplift is promised. CURRENT STATE Pilot demonstration. Six researched sample routes, filterable guide and example briefing. No automated monitoring, enrollment form or billing integration. No customers or testimonials claimed. Pilot enquiries: hello@hikingfiles.com. Website: https://hikingfiles.com/.
